Dorchester Academy does not dispense any over the counter medication to students. Parents, you may send medication ( headache, etc) to school for your child only in a ziplock bag with child's name in permanent marker. This will be kept in the Health room.
Congratulations to our Middle School Math Meet students. Team #1 was 11th out of 21 schools competing. They missed the Top 10 by 1 point. Annie Gentry had the top score for Team #1 and also was one of the Top 10 students overall. Laura Judy had the High Score for Team #2.
Congratulations to Anna Myers for being chosen to the AAA South All-Star Volleyball team. The North-Star game will be held on Saturday, October 30th beginning at 1:00.
We are looking for items for our Country Store at our Cow Drop Event. If you can send canned vegetables, jellies, cakes, pies, and craft items for the Bazaar, please send them to the school office on Wednesday, Nov. 3 or Thurs., Nov. 4.
Cow Drop on Nov. 4th ! We need each student to sell at least 2 tickets. All proceeds go for the needed capital improvements at our school. Monies and tickets can be turned in to the office anytime. See Mrs. Karen Griffith for additional tickets. PLEASE help us by selling tickets.
Dorchester Academy is having a school-wide facilities planning meeting on Tuesday, October 26th at 6:00 pm. The meeting will be held at the Concession Stand to discuss long range fields and grounds layout and planning. All interested families are welcome to attend.
DA Booster Club still has Coach's 300 Win T-Shirts for sale . $12.00 for youth & adult sizes. They can be bought at the JV football game on Thursday at DA or in the school's office.
