State Teacher of the Year Finalist

Congratulations to Heather Judy, who has been named a finalist in the SCISA state Teacher of the Year Awards program. Each year SCISA selects 3 candidates from the individual school's Teachers of the Year to compete for the state award. Heather is DA's high school social science teacher.

Softball Sign-up

Softball registration has been extended . Applications will be accepted thru March 31st.

Baseball And Softball Concession Stand Schedule

Baseball and Softball concession stand schedules have been sent home with players. Please ask your player for the schedule.

Relay For Life Shirts

Relay For Life shirts are still being ordered. Contact Ms. Penny Fender about ordering your shirt.

Science Fair Boards

Science Fair Boards are available in the office. They are $5.00 each. The office has white as well as colored boards.

PTO Meeting

The Dorchester Academy PTO will have a meeting on Thursday, March 11th at 7:00 p.m. Board Nominations will be taken at that time. Please plan to attend.

Booster Club Meeting

DA Booster club meeting tonight, February 24th at 6:00 p. m.

DA is part of Food Lion's (Reid's) Shop & Share Program. Every time you shop & present your MVP card, the amount you spend on qualified items is automatically credited to DA. By registering or allowing us to register you ( Grandparents, friends, family) we will be able to earn money for our SmartBoard interactive technology in our classrooms. Check with your homeroom teacher or the office for applications.
