Spring Break !

DA will be closed on Friday May 2nd for Spring Break.

Classes will resume on Monday April12th.

DA Alumni Softball Tournament Winners

Congratulations to our Varsity Softball Team.
They won the final game of the Alumni Tournament on Saturday beating the Over 30's (The Rusty Raiders) team 9-3. The Rusty Raiders won their first game 3-1.
A great day was had by all!

Tom Thumb Wedding

DA's Tom Thumb Wedding went off without a hitch ! Everyone had a great time. Thanks to Dee Dee & Bubba Hartzog, Ruth Anne O'Cain , Kathy Shuler, Sandi Wimberly, Jennifer Hilton and others for all their hard work. Their efforts earned DA $1033.00 toward SmartBoards purchases for the school.

Tom Thumb Wedding

Don't miss the Tom Thumb Wedding on Sunday, March 28th at 3:00 p.m. in the gym.
It is going to be a great day for dressing up and having fun ! Please have the participants dressed and in the cafeteria by 2:30 p.m. Family members and friends are invited to join us.
All proceeds will go to help purchase Smart Boards for our school.

We are looking for volunteers to help with the clean up after the wedding. This should only take a short time. Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Bake Sale

The Student Government is sponsoring a Bake Sale on Wednesday, March 24th. All proceeds will go to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Please help support this good cause !

Life Touch Pictures

Life Touch Pictures will be at Dorchester Academy on Tuesday, March 30th. All students will be photographed. Please notify your student's teacher if you do not want an individual portrait taken of your child. Your son or daughter may be included in any group portrait . Choose from 5 poses on the selection form and bring to school on Picture Day.
A portion of your purchase goes back to Dorchester Academy.
