Lower School Supplies

Lower School students supplies will be purchased by the teacher. Each parent is asked to send $25.00 to cover their child's supplies for their class this year. Parents are asked to furnish a bookbag. The teachers will get all other materials except supplies for the art class.

Grounds Maintenance Bids Being Accepted for 2010-2011 School Year

Dorchester Academy is accepting Grounds Maintenance Bids for the 2010-2011 school year. The contract and bid sheet may be downloaded by clicking on these links or a copy may be picked up at the school. Bids are due in the office by August 15.

Upcoming Coming Event: Do Good Day for the Rickborn Family

The 3rd annual Do Good Day is being held at the Harleyville Community Center. See attached flyer for more details.

High School Graduation DVD Available

The 2010 Senior Graduation DVD is available in the school's office. Cost $20.00

Volunteer Painters Needed

The paint is here for the inside halls and the exterior. We need volunteers to call and schedule a time that works for you to stop by and help get the interior and exterior painted. Call Bambi 563-9511 about helping with the inside and Bryan Hutto about helping with the exterior.

1 Glue stick ( no liquid...takes too long to dry)

Piano and Guitar lessons for a fee

Dorchester Academy is looking at offering piano lessons and guitar lessons for the 2010-2011 school year if there is enough interest. Selena Barfield will be at DA on Wednesdays to conduct piano lessons. The fee is $75.00 per child. Shannon Hodges will be here on Mondays to do guitar lessons. Her fee is $65.00. Sessions will be scheduled during school hours when possible. Please call and let Bambi know if you are interested in piano or guitar lessons.

MFuge Team at Dorchester Academy

MFuge a team of summer mission students from Charleston Southern is working at Dorchester Academy July 13-23, daily Tuesday through Friday from 11-2. We are so excited to have them painting and helping spruce up our campus. We would love for you to stop by, work with them, or just cheer them on. Please come show your support and thank them for their hard work.
