Summer Art Camp Registration Deadline Wed., June 1st

Summer Art Camp at DA

There will be a Summer Art Camp offered at DA for K4-2nd Grade on Monday, June 13 - Wednesday, June 15. Students will make clay beads, water color sunsets, pastel landscapes and still life.
Monday, June 27- Wednesday, June 29 will be for 3rd grade & up. These students will create an 11x14 wet on oil canvas and receive instruction in various art techniques.
Cost: $100 ( Snacks provided)
Class size is limited.
Form available in school office. Deadline for form & payment is Wednesday, June 1st.

2011 Boy's State

Congratulations to Logan Bell, Nick McAlhany, Reese Westbury, Brandon Bair and Grande Fender for being elected to Boy's State. The American Legion will honor them with a dinner on July 18th.

DA State Championship Baseball Game

DA will play their State Championship Baseball game against First Baptist on Thursday, May 19th at 6:00 p.m. at Northwoods Academy. Please come out and support your team !

SCISA All-Star South Baseball Team

Congratulations to Brandon Bair, Grande Fender, Jamie Collins and Thomas McAlhany for being named to the SCISA All-Star South Baseball Team. Joey Canaday was selected as coach for this team. The game will be played Saturday, May 21st at 1:00 p.m at the Orangeburg Prep fields.

SCISA All-Star South Softball Team

Congratulations to Tayler Barcomb, Taylor Hall and Jordan Collier for being named to the SCISA All-Star South Softball Team. Alex Hall has been selected as the coach for this team. The game will be played on Saturday, May 21st at 1:00 p.m. at the Orangeburg Prep fields.

Baseball Game Monday, May 16th

Game time for the state conference game today against First Baptist is 6:00 p.m.
Tuesday's game will be played at the First Baptist field at 5:00 p.m.
Directions to First Baptist game:
Follow I-26 to 17 south. Left on Lockwood to James Island (SC-30). Take Harborview Rd. exit, turn right off bottom of ramp. Follow Harborview to the end, take right on Fort Johnson Rd. Pass James Island High School on right. Entrance to FBS complex will be next left. Follow road to the back of the property.
