Night of Star Gazing

You are invited to a night of Star Gazing on Saturday, August 25 at 8:30 p.m. on the Dorchester Academy football practice field.  Dr. Jerry Galloway will be bringing his telescopes and sharing the night sky with our DA families. Guests are welcome. Please: No white lights (flashlights must be a red light) and we must keep the observing area quiet.

Charlie Tumbleston will be at DA on Wednesday, September 19th to take school pictures.

Dual Credit College Course Registration

The registrar from Salkahatchie will be in the Conference Room at DA on Wednesday, August 22nd at 8:30 am.  Students must be present with their driver's license and birth certificate. Text books will be purchased at this time.  Parents are welcome to attend.

School Grounds Work Days

The school has scheduled Thursday, August 9 at 6:30 and Sat. August 11 at 8:00 a.m. as workday times to work on the outside of the building. If anyone wants to help, please let the office know. If you can’t come let us know and we can give you a job to do at your leisure.

DA School Office Summer Hours

Office hours until July 30th will be Monday thru Thursday from 9:00 to 3:00.
The week of July 30th thru August 16th. we will be open from 9:00 to 3:00 Monday thru Friday.
Starting August 17th (1st day of school) the office will be open from 7:30 to 3:00.

All Ball Fields Closed For 24 Hours

All the Ball Fields (Softball, Baseball & Football) have been sprayed and will be closed until 12:00 pm Friday, June 1st.
