Congratulation to our 2011 graduates who are playing collegiate ball: Jamie Collins who is playing baseball at Francis Marion, Michael Gruber who is playing football at Brevard College and Thomas McAlhany who is playing baseball at Florence - Darlington Tech. We are so proud of you all !

PowerSchool

We are continuing to have issues with the PowerSchool gradebook. The PowerSchool tech team is working on the issue and we hope to be up very soon. We are very sorry for this inconvenience.

DA will have a regular school day Friday August 26th.

Dorchester Academy will not be closing early today. We will have a regular school day and the Varsity Football game will play as scheduled with 7:00 pm game time.

DA Varsity Football DVDs Available

The Dorchester Academy Varsity Football game DVDs are on sale each week in the school office for $10.00 each. See Mrs. Bambi to purchase yours.

Congratulations Emma Moorer and Madison Murray!

Congratulations go out to Emma Moorer and Madison Murray of Lowcountry Pony Cub for achieving their D3 rating in the United States Pony Club. The rating consists of an unmounted horsemanship knowledge phase as well 3 riding phases.

" Player's Chairs"

Dorchester Academy is offering for a $100.00 donation "Custom Court Chairs". The chairs will be placed in the newly remodeled Shuler Gym. Names of the donors will be engraved on a wall plaque and can be made in honor or in memory of the individual or individuals.

PowerSchool Issues

We are experiencing issues with PowerSchool at this time. Please give us until next week to get assignments posted and the kinks worked out. Some students may not be listed on the right courses at this time, but we are aware of this problem and are working to fix it.
