Dress Down Day

DA Student Government is sponsoring "Dress Down Day" on Wednesday, September 28th. This is a fund raiser for Mrs. Winnie Mraz, one of our school custodians, who has been diagnosed with cancer and is out having surgery & treatments. We feel this is a great way to show our love and support for her. To participate in " Dress Down Day" you will need to buy a special $5.00 sticker from your homeroom teacher . Only those students with special stickers will not have to wear "Wednesday Wear" on that day and may dress in casual wear with shirts untucked and hats ( no pajama pants or athletic wear).
The Student Government will also sponsor a Bake Sale on Wednesday, October 5th with the proceeds going to Mrs. Winnie. All items will sell for $1.00.

PSAT Registration

The PSAT will be given at Dorchester Academy on October 12th at 8:00 am.

Cost is $13.00 to be given to Mrs. Ruth Anne by Oct. 11th.

My Coke Rewards for Schools Program

Dorchester Academy has joined the My Coke Rewards for Schools Program. That means by drinking Coca-Cola products, we can all earn My Coke Rewards points and donate them to support our school. Donated points can be used to get rewards like sports equipment, art supplies and educational resources that help our students learn, play and have fun. SCISA Art Contest

High School students: Mrs. G is looking for students that want to compete in this year's SCISA art contest. We have some very talented students that have never competed before. Don't let your talents go unseen.

If you are interested Mrs. Glidden will arrange for you to have time in the art room to work on your project and will also help you decide what to create for the competition.

Let's pull together and make this a real competition. We want to put Dorchester Academy on the map as an art school ! Help us bring home the gold !
