ACT at DA

On Saturday, December 11th the ACT will be given at DA. Students will need to register online at http://www.actstudent.org/.

Paving School Parking Lots

The school parking lots will be repaved this Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday, September 30th thru October 3rd. No cars will be allowed in the school parking lots. Please use the Josh Canaday Drive and Student parking areas for the Volleyball and Junior High Football games.

Celebration to Honor Coach Gruber's 300th Win

An official ceremony and presentation honoring Coach Stanley Gruber will be held on Thursday, September 30th during halftime of the Junior High Raiders football game. The game starts at 7:00 p.m.

Homely Homecoming

Homely Homecoming will be during Friday's pep rally on Oct. 8 at 8:00 a.m.

The 2010 Dorchester Academy Homecoming will be held on Friday night October 8th starting at 7:00 p.m. with the crowning of the queen during half-time.

Students Leaving School For Campmeeting

Dorchester Academy will be closed on Thursday and Friday for Campmeeting Holidays. Any student leaving school for lunch at the Campground must have a written note from a parent or be signed out by a parent or a guardian for the rest of the day. Students are not allowed to go to the Campground for lunch and then return to school.

Homecoming Dance

Dorchester Academy's Junior Class is sponsoring a Homecoming Dance on Friday, October 8th. Admission is $5.00 and snack & drinks will be $1.00.

Schedule:

K-4 -4th grade - half time till the end of the game.

5th thru 12th grade - end of game till 12:00 am.

Picture Deadline

Wednesday, September 29th is the deadline for ordering school pictures. Please turn your orders and payment into Ms. Susan in the office.

Basketball Sign-up & Physicals

Basketball physicals must be turned by November 1st. Basketball sign-up is going on now.

Student Exchange

Dorchester Academy will host a Student Exchange on Tuesday, October 19th with Coastal Christian Academy.
