Basketball Players of the Week by Lynn & Mark Fralix

Week of November 19th......

JV Girls
1) Madelyn Fender - As Captain, Madelyn has stepped up her leadership skills so far this year.  Against Patrick Henry, she played superb defensively throughout 4 quarters of play and an overtime coming up with 10 steals.  One steal was at a crucial point in overtime that gave us the ball and likely, the win as we scored to take the lead.  She added 4 points and 2 rebounds and took care of the ball against Patrick Henry's press.  She played with confidence and was aggressive with driving the ball to the hole.  I'm looking forward to that continued confidence from the Sophomore player so our younger girls can follow behind that leadership.

Varsity Girls
1)  Crystal Wilds - Crystal came out on fire shooting 53% and scoring 14 points against Patrick Henry.  As a captain, she stepped up her game showing good leadership skills.  She added 4 steals as she hustled with our press and did a great job of helping protect the ball against Patrick Henry's press.  I'm looking forward to her continued contribution to our offensive scoring as well as her defensive skills.

JV Boys
1) Cole Cleland - Cole scored 13 points, 10 rebounds and 3 steals.

Varsity Boys
1)  Stokes Brownlee - Stokes scored 18 points and 7 rebounds.

B - Team Basketball Practice

Girl's B -Team Basketball will practice on Tues, Nov. 27th at 4:00.
Boy's B -Team Basketball will practice on Tues, Nov. 27th at 5:30.
