Football Steak Supper

There will be a steak supper at the school cafeteria on Sunday, November 15th at 7:00pm for the Varsity Football Players, Varsity Cheerleaders, Trainers and Coaches. For more information, call Coach Anthony at 563-1926.

Ring Ceremony

The Junior Ring Ceremony will be held on Monday, November 23rd at 8:15am in the Gym.

Letterman Jackets

Sizing for Letterman Jackets will be done on Wednesday , November 18th, at the beginning of the High School Lunch Period, around 12:00 am. Anyone interested in ordering a Letterman's Jacket bring a $50.00 deposit made out to D.A. Booster Club. All those interested in ordering, meet in Mr. Aumend's office at the beginning of lunch on Wednesday the 18th.

B & C Team Boys Basketball Meeting

There will be a short, mandatory B & C team boys basketball meeting right after school this Thursday, November 12th. All boys, 5th through 8th grade, who are interested in B & C basketball, meet after school on Thursday.

Football Uniforms

All football players are to turn in their complete uniforms to Coach on Thursday, November 12, immediately after school.

Veteran's Day Colors

In honor of our Veterans we encourage everyone to wear red, white, and blue to school on Monday.
Don't forget about our Veteran's Day Program @ 7:30am Monday in the Cafeteria. Please invite any Veterans you know.

November Lunch Menu

Mondays: chicken tenders and fries
Tuesdays: country fried steak, mashed potatoes, vegetable

Wednesdays:
Nov. 4: Vegetable soup and cornbread
Nov. 11: Pancakes, sausage, and a banana
Nov. 18: BBQ Sandwich, baked beans, and coleslaw

Thursdays: Pizza, breadstick and salad
Fridays: cheeseburger and fries

After School Care

We are in need of your help in keeping all of our students safe. Please be informed that Dorchester Academy students should go home promptly after school. The school offers After School Care through Michelle Lott for students who need to remain at school past 2:45. (Contact Michelle for this service.) Students should not roam the buildings, grounds, or gym without being under adult supervision after hours. Any students found roaming after 2:45 will be taken to After School Care at a rate of $10.00 per day. Students who are staying for sport’s practices must be supervised by coaches and/or parents. Athletes who are staying for practice should report to their practice area and remain there. Siblings of athletes should not remain at school for athletic practices unless under the supervision of After School Care or arrangements have been made with another adult/coach for supervision. Student safety is a priority here at Dorchester Academy and we need your support to help us continue to keep all our children safe.
