Senior Basketball Players and their parents will be recognized before the Varsity Girls' Game on Tuesday, February 5th.

February 11th PTO Meeting Speaker

The DA PTO meeting on February 11th at 6:00 will feature a speaker who's topic will be " What every parent should know about drugs in today's world."  Please do not bring your child.

Players of the Week by Lynn and Mark Fralix

JV Girls:  Effie Moorer - Effie is playing well and has earned a starting position.  She led our team in scoring 2/3 games this week and pulled 11 rebounds.  She is working hard at practice and it is showing in game situations.

Varsity Girls:  Tayler Barcomb - Tayler scored 52 points this week showing exceptional leadership on the court.  She continues to be both an offensive and defensive threat.

B Team Basketball Players

Please turn in your uniform immediately after the game on Wednesday, January 30th.  Plan on bringing a change of clothes.

DA Pageant Info

The DA Pageant will be held Sunday, January 27th in the Shuler Gym at 2:00.  Practice will be on Friday during school.  The gym will be open on Sunday 27th at 12:00.  There will be dressing areas available. 

Basketball Players of the Week by Lynn and Mark Fralix

Week of January 14th

JV - Katie Wimberly - Katie is consistently scoring 6 points per game and pulling 7 - 8 rebounds.  She does an excellent job helping out on the press as she is patient and doesn't panic.

Varsity - Ashlyn Fralix - Ashlyn continues to lead our team in scoring totaling 33 points this past week. 

Aftercare Schedule

Tuesday, January 22, Aftercare will be held in the computer lab every Tuesday and Thursday from 2:30 - 3:30.  If you plan to pick up your child before 3:30 on these days, please let Mrs. Kathy Shuler know so that she can have your child at the door for dismissal.  Aftercare will be in the K4 clasroom on Monday's and Wednesday's.
